We wrote about the first photographs of a Firefly Airline Fokker F50, yesterday we wrote about Firefly Airline's inaugural flights, and now we have Firefly Airline's first commercial flight - all these milestones! (we wont write about their second flight!). On Tuesday the 3rd April 2007, Firefly Airlines took to the skies for their first commercial flight.

FireFly Airline's first commercial flights was took off from Malaysia's northern Penang state to Kota Bahru, the capital of northern Kelantan state.
Firefly Airline is a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. There has been some controversy over the fact that they don't own the url www.firefly.com.my (and had to settle for www.fireflyz.com.my)
