Chongqing Development and Investment Company and China Southern have filed an application with the Civil Aviation Administration of China to start an airline called Chongqing Airlines. The plan is for the airline to conduct domestic flights in the Chongqing province of China.
Chongqing Airlines plans to start flying by the end of April 2007.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
China Southern will provide three A320 planes to Chongqing Airline.
